Going mobile!
Putting the finishing touches on an ultralight remote recording AND live sound rig; 14 mic preamps (up to 18 total inputs) and multiple mixing consoles in a 4 space rack. The setup worked great on the last Song Swap, and is ready to record the Major Glitch Swap later this month at Hat City Kitchen.
A small, great sounding rig opens up all kinds of possibilities for recording easily. Set this thing up in the Airstream...mobile studio. Love the sound in a rehearsal room...make a record. Last minute gig that needs preserving...piece of cake. I'm hoping to have some serious fun with this thing...
Also new, DDP masters!!! Reference CDs can really slow a project down; burning, labeling, mailing. Now ready, FTP delivery of masters directly to duplication facilities that support DDP filesets. Also, artists can download a DDP player (Mac or Windows) with a CD burning option, to reference the master of the album. Faster, cheaper and fewer wasted CDs!
